- Biography
Liv Cambern is a Multimedia Designer with the Multimedia team at CETLOE. Having spent the first half of her life in Bend, Oregon and the second half in Atlanta, Georgia, Liv has a unique appreciation for how change encourages growth. As the primary script writer for the Multimedia team, Liv tries to champion that growth in every one of her scripts. She collaborates with her teammates to produce animations, videos, comics, simulations, and immersive experiences that engage students, facilitate learning, and push the boundaries of what online education can be.
With a background in freelance video editing, copy editing, podcast writing, and UX Design, Liv is comfortable in most mediums and always looking for the opportunity to learn more. An alumnus of GSU’s Film & Media and Creative Writing Programs, Liv started working in the Atlanta Film scene during her first year of college. She has worked as 1st and 2nd Assistant Director on Chris Anthony Hamilton’s short film, Body and Son, which won Best Short at the 2020 Atlanta Underground Film Festival and Best Cinematography at the 2020 New York True Venture Film Festival. Liv’s own short film, Elohi, was screened at the 2019 Bend Film Festival and the 2019 Native Spirit Film Festival. It is now a part of the syllabus for the “Literature of Removal” course at High Point University.
When she’s not working, Liv has far too many hobbies. She stretches her time between drawing, playing Dungeons and Dragons, costuming, hiking, writing, and educating on indigenous rights.
