With over 25 years of experience in developing education media at Georgia State University, Mat Munson is an Assistant Director of Multimedia Design in the Learning Design group at CETLOE. He manages a team of talented multimedia designers who collaborate with Learning Experiences Designers and Faculty to develop engaging, innovative course media for academic achievement.
Mat has been involved in the Atlanta film community for many years. He edited an Atlanta Film Festival’s Audience Award-winning feature-length documentary, Disabled But Able to Rock, and won the Hiku award for one of his music videos at the AthFest Music Festival.
Mat graduated with honors and a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Film and Video production from Georgia State University. He has a certification in Project Management and successfully completed Educause Institute’s Management Program.
In his spare time, Mat loves to play tennis, cook and, of course, watch movies, make them and help others make them.
