Will Kerr is the Assistant Director of User Experience (UX) Research and Design at CETLOE. An expert in his field since the 1990’s, Will leads a team of UX experts who utilize research and design to find the most effective and engaging solutions to modern problems for online and technology-assisted learning. Specifically, Will’s team focuses on online learning methods, academic technology usability, understanding the student experience, and organizational development & service design.
Will has degrees in the fields of Education and Psychology from Georgia State University, New York University, and the University of West Georgia. Along with his experience in higher education, Will hails from a long career in corporate consulting and continues to advise organizations and educational institutions on best practice in technologically-enhanced learning. In addition, Will frequently contributes to conference presentations and panel discussions. Most of all, he enjoys mentoring designers and researchers just starting out in the field.
Outside of work, Will produces electronic music some would call rave-y, enjoys playing with his sons (preferably at a beach), and laughs with his wife about the ongoing challenges and joys of parenting.
