CETLOE offers a variety of professionalization opportunities for faculty and graduate teaching assistants. We know that most of you are overwhelmed with teaching, research and service, so we’ve created opportunities for you to fit teaching professionalization into your busy days!
Our mini courses and scaffolded badging provides you a chance to engage for limited amounts of time yet demonstrate your investment by working toward larger achievements. Check out the credentials and micro credentials you can earn, and sign up for a training today!
CETLOE Badges for 2023/2024
Exceptional Graduate Teaching Assistants must hold some form of GTA position in their department or serve as a writing consultant.
Students can earn the Exceptional Graduate Teaching Assistant badge by fulfilling the following training requirements:
- Complete a departmental pedagogy course, CETLOE’s asynchronous pedagogy course or WAC training.
- Attend four CETLOE workshops.
- Earn badges in any three of the CETLOE mini courses or complete the MOT training and earn a badge.
