What is Peer Review?
The Peer Review tool from FeedbackFruits allows the students to anonymously provide constructive feedback to each other on their work using specific criteria and performance levels set by the instructor. The Peer Review tool is fully integrated with iCollege’s Groups, Grades and Calendar tools.
How to Access Peer Review:
FeedbackFruits Peer Review is available to the entire GSU community through an institutional license. Go to the module where you want to create the activity, click on “Existing Activities,” scroll down and click on “Feedback Fruits.”

Yes, the Peer Review tool offers the option for submitter and reviewer anonymity. Note: This setting cannot be changed once the students start submitting their work.
Yes, the assignment can be set up so that the students submit the work individually or as groups. They can also conduct the reviews as individuals or as a group.
Any number from one student to the entire class.
Yes, you can set them as individual scale items or combine them in one rubric. You can also have more than one rubric with different criteria and performance levels within the same assignment.
Yes, you can save your criteria as a rubric to your rubric library and use them for future assignments in the same course or in other courses, or even share them with fellow instructors at GSU.
Yes, you can set deadlines for the students to submit their work, a deadline for them to review their peers, a deadline for them to read the reviews they received and optionally, a deadline to write a reflection on the activity and the feedback they received if you decide to include a reflection component in the assignment.
Yes, FeedbackFruits activities that are created as a part of one iCollege course will be copied when course content is copied into another course. They can also be used as templates when creating future activities in the same course or in future semesters.
Yes. To do so, create the grade item and then associate it with the Group Member Evaluation assignment. You can then manually publish the grades by clicking “Publish Grades” from within the Group Member Evaluation activity or set a date for the grades to be published automatically.
Yes, instructors can access the assignment at any time while still in progress to monitor the students’ performance.
Yes, students can add comments on rubric criteria if this feature is enabled by the instructor. Written comments are another form of criteria that instructors can include in the assignment to allow the students to provide written feedback on their peers’ performance.
